In-School Programs at the Morrell Nature Sanctuary

In-school programs are available for K1-K3 throughout the school year, Monday to Friday. Trained Nature Interpreters will present your class with a variety of activities to reinforce the concept of each program. The cost of each program is $45.00 for one hour of instruction.

Animal SOS

An informative program based on endangered animals. Students will participate in a group discussion, activities and games as they gain an awareness of the concept of endangerment. 

What's a Bug's Life?

​Students will be shown actual specimens from various species and of course puppets. This presentation ties into Classification of Species. (Plan at least 15 min. extra).

The Morrell Nature Sanctuary is owned by the Nature Trust of British Columbia. It is leased and managed by volunteers at the
​ Morrell Sanctuary Society for Environmental Education.
